W zestawieniu uwzględniłem wyniki z ostatnich 26 lat. W tym czasie regulamin zawodów ulegał różnorodnym zmianom. Od kilku lat stacje Single Operator mogą korzystać z sieci informacyjnych, np. DX-Cluster. Mnożnik ulegał również zmianie: od kiedy stacje z USA nie musiały zaznaczać zmiany QTH w znaku ( np. N2KK/6 ) zrezygnowano z dodatkowych mnożników jakimi były okręgi wywoławcze JA, PY, VE, VO, W, ZL, ZS, UA9/0. Kwestia przywrócenia tych mnożnikow była dyskutowana i już znalazła pozytywne rozwiązanie.
W zestawieniu nie uwzględniłem efemeryd jak kategoria Multi Operator Multi Transmiter i innych.

WAEDC organizowany przez DARC należy do trudniejszych contestów. Aby uzyskać dobry wynik należy nieźle nagimnastykować się przy odbiorze QTC. Ostatnią znaczącą zmianą było wprowadzenie jedynej kategorii assisted dla wszystkich stacji single operator.

Kolejne zmiany mają uatrakcyjnić te zawody:

Odstąpienie od reguły 10 minut w kategorii single operator, ma to na celu uaktywnienie pasm 80 i 10m, które do tej pory służyły głównie do wyszukiwania mnożników.
W przypadku stacji multi-single, stacja running musi pozostać przynajmniej przez 10 minut na danym paśmie i tylko ona może wymieniać QTC, pozostałe stacje mogą jednocześnie nadawać na innych pasmach, ale ich rola ogranicza się tylko do wyszukiwania nowych mnożników.

Powrócenie do starej zasady, w której mnożnikami dla Europejczyków były okręgi wywoławcze JA, PY, UA9/0, VE, VK, W, ZL i ZS.

Wprowadzenie oddzielnej kategorii low power.

Znaki uczestników deklarujących się jako non assisted będą odpowiednio wyszczególnione w wynikach zawodów.

Stacje nie biorące udziału w zawodach mogą być logowane z numerem 000.
