All of these forces came together the weekend of December 15-16, 2001 for the ARRL 10 Meter Contest. While the 2585 logs received is down about 10% from the all-time single weekend ARRL contest record set in the 2000 ARRL 10 Meter Contest, activity on the bands remained high -- and with many stations turning in a wide range of record performances. Approximately 10.5% of all entries were in the QRP category. This is up from 8.5% of all entries in 2000 and a strong indication that QRP is alive and well. Low power was, as always, the most popular category, as 57.5% of all entries ran between 5 and 150 watts PEP. High power was listed by 32% of all entries. Entries were received from 153 different multipliers in the contest.
